Ana Carrasco, born in Murcia, started in the world of motorcycle racing at three years old and at just six years of age she was competing in official races. Despite her young age, Carrasco accumulated numerous victories under her belt and competed in several championships from 2005 to date. 2009 proved to be successful year for her as she became champion of the Extremeña 125cc class, the Murcia 125cc class and the Copa de España 2T. In 2011 she became the first female to score points in the CEV 125 Championship and in 2012 she was the first female to make it into the new Moto3™ format in the same championship. For 2013 she partnered Maverick Viñales in the JHK T-Shirt Laglisse team as she made the step up to the Moto3 World Championship. Some competitive performances, especially in qualifying, saw her secure a ride in 2014 with the RW Racing GP outfit. In 2015 she rides a KTM for the RBA Racing Team alongside Niklas Ajo and Gabriel Rodrigo.
