Diogo Moreira is among a number of new faces joining the MotoGP World Championship for 2025. Having won in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2021, he joined MT Helmets – MSI alongside Ryusei Yamanaka in his rookie Moto3™ campaign and he took little to no time to adapt, claiming top six finishes in two of his first three races, while he took P8 overall in the Championship and the 2022 Rookie of the Year crown. For 2023, he stayed with the MT Helmets – MSI team, with hopes of contending for the title. However, throughout the season, he only secured three podiums, including a notable victory in Indonesia – his first in the World Championship. In 2024, he moved up to Moto2™ with the Italtrans Racing Team and would have an impressive maiden season, finishing 14th in the standing after securing his best result of the season at Solidarity GP, giving him the rookie of the year title. 2025's season was extraordinary as he took a first Grand Prix victory and overturned the biggest deficit in Moto2 history to take the title in the final round of the season. 4 wins, history made and graduating to MotoGP with CASTROL Honda LCR in the year we return to Brazil, the samba festival starts now for the #11!
