Juanfran Guevara, from Murcia in southern Spain, got on a bike for the first time aged eleven, and three months later debuted in his first race. That same year he was runner-up in the Region of Murcia PRO 80cc. At 13 he became champion of the Region of Murcia PRO 80cc and debuted in the 125cc PreGP class, where he managed three podiums and finished third in the overall standings. In 2008, Guevara raced in the Cup 80cc Bancaja, and in 2009 he debuted in the Mediterranean Championship of Speed (CMV) in 125cc PreGP. In 2010 he raced with TeaMMurcia in the Mediterranean Championship in 125cc PreGP speed again where he came second after a fight to the final race. That same year he contested the 125cc PreGP MotoDes Championship and in 2011 competed in the Spanish Championship where he came 9th. He also had a wildcard ride on the world stage in Valencia that year, whilst in 2012 he continued in the CEV where he took his first victory at Albacete. For 2013 he was signed by the CIP MOTO team to compete in the Moto3 World Championship with their TSR Honda, before joining Mapfre Aspar Team to ride the Kalex KTM in 2014. He stays within the Aspar structure for 2015 now riding the Mahindra.
