Dovizioso: “We know that we have to continue to work”

Dovizioso: “We know that we have to continue to work”

A quick turn around after the Indianapolis GP for Andrea Dovizioso, heading directly to the bwin Grand Prix České republiky for round 11.

An incident in the opening turns of the Indianapolis Grand Prix saw Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) drop to the back of the field, forced to fight his way back. This marks yet another tough MotoGP™ race for the Ducati rider, able to fight back up to ninth. After the hugely successful start to the season for Ducati the recent rounds for Dovizioso have been tough.

Brno saw Dovizioso start from second on the grid, eventually ending down in sixth place. The fast and flowing Brno circuit allows for multiple lines, always producing close racing throughout the field. 2011 saw the Italian claim his only MotoGP™ podium at the Czech GP, a stunning second matching his two seconds in the 250cc class at Brno.

Andrea Dovizioso: ”The Brno race will be interesting because it will give us an idea of our competitive level, also on this track, which I consider to be fantastic and very special. I think that we should go a lot better than in the last few races and that the track will be more suitable for us, even though the overall situation is what we saw at Indianapolis. But we know that we have to continue to work hard to improve our form, and in any case, I hope that my negative streak in the last few races will come to an end soon!”
