MotoGP™ will kick into gear in just over two weeks' time at the Sepang Test as all riders finally get the chance to swing their leg over their 2020 machines. As the 2020 season draws closer, riders' preparations are intensifying as they aim to be in the best shape possible ahead of the new season. But what exactly have they been up to?
2019 MotoGP™ World Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) has been working on his right shoulder after surgery in November 2019. The now eight-time World Champion as of yet hasn't been on two wheels but he has been on four, driving a kart to try and further strengthen the shoulder.
Fellow Honda man Takaaki Nakagami (Idemitsu LCR Honda) has also been focusing on rehab after shoulder surgery himself. The Japanese rider missed the final three rounds of the year in order to be fully prepared for 2020 and recently posted that he's been on a 100cc bike in Japan as he prepares for the Sepang Test.
やっと!日本GP以来バイクに乗ってきました!痛みもなく乗れました!

まだ課題はありますが、そんなことより今はまたバイクに乗れたことが心の底から嬉しいです????!

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP's Valentino Rossi has been back on a motocross bike for the first time since 2017 as his 2020 preparations begin to ramp up. The Doctor said he wouldn't jump on one again following a training accident in 2017 ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello. But, after a day with Ducati Team's Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci in 2019, the nine-time World Champion has been riding daily with fellow VR46 Riders Academy friends Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing).
Meanwhile, Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) has been at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar doing some laps on a superbike as he tries to sharpen up ahead of the test in Malaysia. He's not been the only MotoGP™ star on two wheels too, with Reale Avintia Racing's Tito Rabat and Team Suzuki Ecstar's Joan Mir doing laps together at the Circuit Mallorca. Plus, Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) has been at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya in the past few days.

Finally, both Pol Espagraro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) have hit the slopes over the past few weeks as they manage to mix both 2020 preparations and some time to relax ahead of a hectic season ahead of them.
