Quartararo 0.2s clear of teammate Viñales

It’s another Yamaha 1-2 at the top in FP4 as the World Championship leader lays down the gauntlet

World Championship leader Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) was all smiles after FP4 at the Motul TT Assen – and for good reason. The Frenchman topped the 30-minute race-pace session with a 1:32.513, 0.204s ahead of teammate Maverick Viñales, with Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) completing the top three.

Quartararo was superior in FP4, but the gap between Oliveira and 12th place Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT) is a little over three tenths – it’s very tightly contested at the Cathedral of Speed ahead of qualifying.
