Oliveira fastest, Quartararo second in FP4

'El Diablo' turns up the pressure even further on World Championship leader Bagnaia at #TheDecider

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Miguel Oliveira has set the fastest lap in FP4 at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana while World Championship contender Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) claimed P2. Oliveira clocked a 1:30.762 on his last Saturday afternoon on a KTM RC16 while Quartararo went as quick as a 1:30.996 around the Circuit Ricardo Tormo on his YZR-M1. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) was classified 11th on a 1:31.270 on what is proving a difficult weekend for the Italian as he tries to clinch a first premier class title.

Third in the session went to another Ducati rider, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), from Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda Team) and Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing), while FP3 fast man Jack Miller (Ducati Lenovo Team) took seventh. Michelin’s hard compound looks to be the choice for the race based on FP4 running while most of the field ran the medium on the rear, although some opted for the soft.
