M. Marquez: Let's put on a show this weekend and finish 2023 strong!

The #93 begins his long Honda goodbye in Indonesia this weekend, with a new adventure awaiting him in 2024

Just six rounds remain in the 2023 MotoGP™ season, meaning there are just six more weekends we will see Marc Marquez don the iconic Repsol Honda leathers. The #93 and HRC announced they are parting ways at the end of the campaign, bringing a fruitful 11-year relationship to an end.

Where the eight-time World Champion will ride in 2024 is yet to be confirmed, but Marquez insists he is fully focused on the task at hand to ensure he has the perfect send off from Honda. This weekend, he returns to Mandalika, where he suffered a massive crash during Warm Up in 2022, and will be hopeful of maintaining his strong run of form that has seen him collect a Tissot Sprint podium in India and a feature race podium from Japan.

Riding fit and well again, Marquez is determined to entertain fans at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia: "Our objective for this race is exactly the same as the ones which remain this year: go out and do our maximum to finish 2023 in the best way possible as a team," he told boxrepsol.

"Indonesia is always an incredible country to visit, you can really feel the passion of the fans here and I enjoy coming here more and more each time. Unfortunately, last year I had a crash in Warm Up so finally I wasn’t able to race but I rode here in the test and during practice as well so we have some idea what to expect this year. Let’s put on a good show this weekend and really just enjoy it."
