Masia edges Holgado ahead of qualifying

The top two in the Championship are 1-2 after Practice in Indonesia with Bertelle inside the top three

Jaume Masia (Leopard Racing) will head into qualifying at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia thanks to a 1:38.781 in Moto3™ Practice 3. The World Championship leader heads title rival Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3) in second, with Matteo Bertelle (Rivacold Snipers Team) claiming P3 on Saturday morning.

Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets – MSI) and Jose Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) complete the top five ahead of Q1 and Q2 in Mandalika, with title hopefuls Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) and Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) safely inside the top 10 in P6 and P7 respectively.

Ivan Ortola (Angeluss MTA Team), David Alonso (Gaviota GASGAS Aspar Team) and Stefano Nepa (Angeluss MTA Team) are other names heading into Q2 directly, they’re joined by Joel Kelso (CFMOTO Racing PrüstelGP), David Muñoz (BOE Motorsports), Scott Ogden (VisionTrack Racing Team) and impressive Indonesian wildcard Arbi Aditama (Honda Team Asia).
