Race 2 for the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Championship was originally delayed start due to conditions at the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. However, racing would soon get underway in wet conditions with Hector Garzo (Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE™) taking a fantastic second victory of the weekend. The Spaniard stormed to win by 3.485s from Nicholas Spinelli (Tech3 E-Racing) at the Sachsenring after a great battle. Joining Garzo and Spinelli on the podium was Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar Team), who took third after an intense battle between the #81 and Oscar Gutierrez (Axxis-MSI) on the final lap.
Garzo leaves Germany with a 25-point lead in the Championship after Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) finished P9 in Race 2.
