There's little respite after a thrilling San Marino GP as riders are already back in action on Monday. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is the destination once again for a one-day test at the iconic track, and you can keep up to date with it all below!

Monday, September 9th

18:05 - MotoGP™ fans, the flag is out! The Misano Test has concluded, with Bagnaia remaining quickest at the end of proceedings. Remember you can watch interviews and highlights from today’s action on motogp.com, and there will be a report to recap all of the action. Make sure you join us in less than two weeks, as we return to Misano for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix!

17:50 – This is your 10-minute warning until the chequered flag waves in Misano, currently Viñales, Binder and Lorenzo Savadori (Aprilia Racing) are the only riders left on the track.

17:40 - Back at Yamaha it looks like Rins has concluded his Misano Test, with the #42 “satisfied” with Monday’s work as we have just 20 minutes left on the clock in Misano!

17:18 - Morbidelli’s day is not over yet, the Italian goes P2 with less than 45 minutes on the clock. The #21 put in an impressive time on his 42nd lap of the day, before pulling back into the box - 0.161s adrift from top honours.

17:09 - There is still some movement throughout the field, as Quartararo enters the top five places after posting a 1:31.063 to jump to P4. Further down the order, it looks like Mir has called it a day after completing one final run with just over an hour to go.

17:01 - The final hour of the Misano Test is here, with Bagnaia, landing a strong 1:30.619 - setting the pace. The Italian leads Bastianini and Acosta and is just 0.315s adrift from the time that he set in Q2 on Saturday – the same time that earned him pole position… Seriously impressive stuff!

16:47 - Mir has joined the action on track, and as the social media caption says, they are still working, and hard work at that. The #36 has completed over 25 laps so far, currently sitting in 20th ahead of teammate Marini, who looks to have test fairings on his machine.

16:29 - No big changes at the moment, with Martin exiting the pitlane to join Quartararo, Espargaro, Miller and Nakagami, who are all circulating on the circuit. The #89 doesn't seem to have any big parts to try today in his final season with Ducati before making the switch to Aprilia.

16:14 - Acosta is beginning to set some fast laps, with the #31 slotting into third overall and is now less than one-tenth adrift from the reigning World Champion after clocking nearly 30 laps in the afternoon session - some serious work from the MotoGP™ rookie!

16:00 – Another hour has ticked down, and just two hours remain with two riders inside the 1:30 bracket as it stands – both of the Ducati Lenovo Team riders. Currently, Bagnaia leads the way in the combined standings, with Bastianini and Martin behind as we await to see if we will have any late time attack runs... If you want to look at this afternoon’s order, have a glance below!

15:55 – A busy day continues for the Yamaha, with Quartararo leaping into P8 in the combined standings after a strong lap this afternoon. Teammate, Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team) is narrowly outside the top 10 at the moment. The Iwata factory has the support of Andrea Dovizioso today, who is not riding but is in the pit box!

15:39 - So far this afternoon, Viñales has set the most amount of laps, clocking over 20 laps as Aprilia try to find improvements for the #12 and Aleix Espargaro ahead of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, which will take place once again at this incredible venue.

15:20 - Bastianini returned to the track and is now the fastest rider of the day, dipping into the 1:30 bracket after the Italian clocked a 1:30.985. ‘The Beast’ swiftly returned to the pitlane after setting his time.

15:15 -  A great slow-motion shot from Trackhouse, showing Raul Fernandez hard at work! The #25 is out on the circuit at the moment and has a busy schedule today, with an RS-GP23 and an RS-GP24 in his pit box today, as they try to find some improvements with potentially some back-to-back runs.

15:03 - Less than three hours remain for the Misano Test, and with Martin remaining at the top (at the moment), here is an update on how things stand so far!

14:52 - Short runs to start the afternoon, as Bagnaia hits the top and heads back to the pitlane after a four-lap run. Bastianini improved in his time from the morning, placing P2 in the afternoon session and P6 overall before also returning to the pits.

14:44 - Martin now sets a 1:31.526, setting a strong pace in the early stages of the afternoon. The #89 is not far away from the pace which was set during the morning, as an interesting afternoon awaits.

One more thing that Pedro has on one of his regular bikes is a slightly different tail unit and a slightly different top exhaust

12:21 - With less than 30 minutes of running left in the morning session, Acosta crashed at Turn 3, rider ok - not what the #31 would be hoping for in such a busy day. Just moments after, Alex Marquez suffered a crash of his own – rider ok.

12:11 - Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) was on the move, placing fourth with teammate Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) in eighth. The reigning World Champion set a 1:31.854 and has a new chassis to try today.

11:45 - One hour is left on the clock for the morning session before action will resume at 14:00 local time (UTC +2)! Right now, Acosta is the fastest rider of the day as the rookie nears the 1:31 bracket.

11:37 - 21 riders have set times so far, with just Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac Racing), Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) yet to post a lap time. We will have a slightly depleted field today, with Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) not taking part in the Misano Test as the Italian puts all of his focus into his recovery.

11:26 - At Repsol Honda, initial reports look positive, with Mir and Marini now back on track. Meanwhile, at LCR, Zarco placed himself inside the top 10 and has completed his first run with a new side fairing.

11:21 - We have a change at the top! While work continued at Aprilia, Binder improved, setting a 1:32.170. The #33 leads Acosta, Quartararo, Viñales and Miguel Oliveira (Trackhouse Racing)!

11:06 - Times are coming in fast, with Acosta briefly improving before Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) jumped to P1 – clocking a 1:32.731. The #12 had a tough start to the Test, setting his fastest lap before crashing at Turn 13 – rider ok.

10:53 - Johann Zarco (CASTROL Honda LCR), Stefan Bradl (HRC Test Team) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team) have also set their first times of the day. The 2021 World Champion is now at the top of the standings, setting a 1:32.900.

10:39 - The #31 has improved further, entering the 1:33 bracket for the first time today as his teammate, Augusto Fernandez (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) also posts his first time of the morning. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Trackhouse Racing’s Raul Fernandez are also out on circuit, spinning some early laps.

10:26 - We have action! Daniel Pedrosa (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) is the first rider to try the conditions at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli - completing one out lap before entering the pits again.

10:00 - The first hour of action is officially on the board, sort of… Still, no laps set yet but the sun is shining and spirits are high in Misano, so things can only improve!

09:50 - Not much activity in terms of Honda either, it is a big day for the Japanese manufacturer with three bikes in Joan Mir's (Repsol Honda Team) side of the garage this morning. Honda faced a tough San Marino GP, as both Mir and Luca Marini (Repsol Honda Team) withdrew from the weekend due to illness, opting to focus on today's action instead.

09:20 - Although no bikes are on the track yet, KTM has given us the perfect way to start our Monday morning as their RC16s warm up in pitlane!

09:05 - We are go! Well, almost... It is a slow start to proceedings this morning because of some overnight rain but I don’t think it will be too long until we see a couple of riders head onto the track to test the conditions!

08:30 - Good morning everybody and welcome back to the Adriatic coast for the Official Misano Test! A steady day of action awaits, and while we wait for the track action to begin, let's take a look back at the last 24 hours in MotoGP™!

In Sunday's San Marino GP, Marc Marquez took back-to-back wins ahead of Pecco Bagnaia as the conditions played havoc. Jorge Martin came home in P15 as he opted to change bikes as the rain fell, but it was a gamble that backfired big time.
