Creating and protecting biodiversity: MotoGP™ contributes to 10,000 trees goal

An initiative to generate awareness about how protecting and regenerating biodiversity is crucial

On Thursday afternoon, the MotoGP™ roster were the protagonists of kickstarting ITDC’s Green Tourism Initiative by planting trees in the heart of Mandalika, alongside the children of the Mandalika Children Learning Centre.

As part of the ITDC’s environmental and social initiatives aimed at generating awareness of how crucial it is to protect and regenerate biodiversity, the riders and children took part in the task of restoring the circuit forest.

ITDC (Injourney Tourism Development Corporation) plans to plant 10,000 trees planted throughout 2024 in The Mandalika hills, to ensure that while celebrating speed and thrill, we also focus on sustainability and restoring our biodiversity.
