What do Martin and Bagnaia need to do to clinch the title?

Here are the results the title-leading duo need to do to be crowned the 2024 MotoGP™ World Champion at the Solidarity GP of Barcelona

The time has nearly arrived. #TheRematch has come down to the final race of the season as either Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) or Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) will be crowned 2024 World Champion at the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona.

Heading into Sunday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Martin remains in the title lead with a 19 point advantage. Everything is still up for grabs on Sunday, with just 25 points remaining. Below are the results that both Martin and Bagnaia need to become the MotoGP™ World Champion on Sunday afternoon.

Martin, World Champion if…

- He finishes P9 or higher
- He finishes P10, P11, P12, P13, P14 and Bagnaia doesn’t finish higher than P2
- Bagnaia doesn’t finish higher than P3

Bagnaia, World Champion if...

- He wins and Martin doesn’t finish higher than P10
- He finishes P2 and Martin doesn’t finish higher than P15
