THE 2025 LINE-UP AND STORYLINES
There are countless changes on the grid that make 2025 more fierce than ever before; Marc Marquez joins Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia in the Ducati Lenovo Team and reigning World Champion Jorge Martin takes the #1 away from the Bologna factory to Noale and Aprilia. He’s Marco Bezzecchi’s teammate, likewise new as a factory rider. Exciting rookie from 2024 Pedro Acosta promises fireworks in the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing squad next to Brad Binder, whilst the Austrian manufacturer’s second line-up is one of the strongest in Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales.
Elsewhere, after winning the Riders’ Championship, Prima Pramac move to Yamaha machinery and feature Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira, whereas history is made at LCR Honda with Somkiat Chantra (LCR Honda Idemitsu) becoming the first Thai rider on the MotoGP grid, alongside Johann Zarco (LCR Honda CASTROL). For the factory outfits of Yamaha and Honda, there’s no change but renewed promise following strong pre-season tests.
