Bastianini ruled out of German GP

Red Bull KTM Tech3 have confirmed ‘The Beast’ won’t race at the Sachsenring after being diagnosed with appendicitis on Thursday

After being diagnosed with appendicitis on Thursday, Red Bull KTM Tech3 have confirmed that Enea Bastianini won’t be taking part in Saturday and Sunday’s action at the Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany.

It’s yet to be announced whether ‘The Beast’ will be back racing at next week’s Czech GP, but what we do know is that Bastianini won’t be replaced at the Sachsenring.

That means full focus in the Tech3 garage will be on Maverick Viñales this weekend as the team and the entire MotoGP paddock wish Enea a speedy recovery.
