Martin races with fan-designed helmet in Barcelona

The reigning Champion rolls out with a new design this weekend chosen from thousands of entries into a MotoGP™25 videogame contest

Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) is racing with a unique helmet design in Barcelona, designed by a player on official videogame MotoGP™25. A fan contest to design a helmet for the reigning Champion saw thousands of entries come in from around the world, with designs submitted from fans in more than 50 countries.

Martin personally selected the winning design, which was entered by a player from Brazil. It features the colors of the Spanish flag, elegantly mixed with electronic circuit designs and the iconic eyes. Now it takes to the track at the Monster Energy GP of Catalonia – and it’ll be available as an in-game item in MotoGP™25.

“It’s amazing to wear a helmet created by fans,” says Martin. “It was so difficult to choose between all those amazing designs, but this is the one that surprised me the most. The graphics and the colors perfectly represent my personality, it will look amazing on the track! I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to submit their ideas. I’m excited to be part of this and bring fans watching from home closer to the action, racing one of their designs.”

Tune in for the Tissot Sprint on super Saturday and then the GP on Sunday to see if Martin can home in on the podium after an impressive P4 at Balaton Park last time out.
