With a busy 22-round season and a fascinating post-season Valencia Test in the books, the MotoGP paddock heads into a well-deserved winter break. There’s been plenty of action to enjoy throughout the second half of the year, and what better time to look back at some of those moments than right now… Lights, camera, action!
Our San Marino spectacle
The San Marino GP served up a stunner on the Adriatic coast as Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) went to battle. The pair traded blows in the opening laps before a nail-biting conclusion led to the pair trading the fastest lap, leaving fans in awe as Marc reigned supreme following 27 laps of breathtaking action – even grabbing the best overtake.

Portimao’s photo finish
We couldn’t leave the Portuguese GP Sprint out of this list, in what was one of the fights of the season. The epic scrap for Sprint victory wasn’t the only thing Saturday had to offer, with an unforgettable final lap for Fermin Aldeguer (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), Johann Zarco (CASTROL Honda LCR), Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)!
Marquez and Bezzecchi lock horns in Austria
It’s time to cast our minds back to the weekend which began our second half of the year – the Austrian GP. Marc Marquez and Bezzecchi went head-to-head once more, in what turned out to be a stunning tussle at the Red Bull Ring. The pair pushed each other to the limit, using every inch of the circuit as Marc came out on top to end his winless Red Bull Ring streak.

Indonesia's Sprint enters the headlines
The Indonesian GP was a weekend which entered MotoGP headlines and history, as Aldeguer clinched his maiden win and Marc Marquez’ season came to an early end. However, there was plenty to speak about on the Saturday too, with Aldeguer and Bezzecchi going head-to-head in a final lap scrap for Sprint glory – which Bezzecchi would win!
Balaton delivers on debut
2025 saw our first trip to Balaton Park and marked MotoGP’s first visit to Hungary since 1992! Drama, close overtakes, and a unique layout featured throughout the weekend, with a tricky opening sector adding to the spectacle. Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez got their elbows out on the opening lap, with some paint exchanged after the lights went out!
