Spanish rider Alberto Ferrandez began his motorcycle racing journey at the age of six, initially training on minibikes before entering his first race just a few months later. His junior career was dominant, winning multiple Minibike championships before he made the jump to the European Talent Cup for the 2020 season. The Spanish star claimed five podiums in his rookie campaign, enjoying further success the following year. Ferrandez enjoyed his first taste of the JuniorGP™ category in 2022, competing in the final round of the season, the same circuit where he would score his first JuniorGP podium in 2023. A full-time move to the Moto2™ European Championship was on the cards for 2024, clinching five podiums and one win in his rookie year. In 2025, he became a title contender, racking up three Moto2 ECh wins and earning a ride in the Moto2 World Championship for 2026 with the Pramac Yamaha Moto2 squad!
