Rider Story

James Haydon debuted in the World Championship in 1992 as a wildcard in 250, making two appearances in 500cc Grand Prix the next year, finishing 11th in the first outing, well ahead of the legendary Ron Haslam. In 1995 joined the World Championship full time as a privateer in 500cc for two seasons, taking some stunning top 10 results and impressing many with his speed on an uncompetitive bike. He returned to superbikes until the end of 2004, he rode Kenny Roberts Proton bike in MotoGP\'s for the last three races, his best result an impressive 12th place in Qatar.
