18-year-old Vierge was born in Barcelona and climbed through the ranks of the domestic scene in Spain before competing in the CEV Moto3™ class for two years, subsequently moving up to the CEV Moto2™ series. Vierge was familiar with the Mistral 610 on his World Championship debut, having successfully ridden it in the CEV Moto2™ category in 2015 to six wins and three additional podiums, ending the year second overall. He got the opportunity to make his first appearance in the World Championship Moto2™ class at the 10th round of the 2015 season in Indianapolis, where he faced the challenge of learning the American circuit. The remaining nine races gave the young Spaniard the opportunity to learn the new race tracks for the future and also become accustomed to the challenging international racing environment. His efforts earned him a full time 2016 ride with the Tech 3 team, and he was Rookie of the Year. For 2017, he remained at Tech 3 for another year and took a debut podium in a stunning season of fighting at the front. He switched to Dynavolt Intact GP for 2018, where he took two podium finishes. In 2019, he rode alongside a Champion in waiting Alex Marquez in the EG 0,0 Marc VDS garage, and he proved a regular threat towards the top of the pack with several Top 6 and Top 10 finishes, though he never placed among the rostrum. 2020 saw him switch to Petronas Sprinta Racing but continued in the same vein of form, recording eight Top 10 finishes, but again, a podium finish eluded him. Will 2021 finally see him break his duck?
