Trayectoria

Having made his name in regional and national minibike competitions, Michel Fabrizio won the Italian Cup in 2000 but established himself in the Italian 125 Sports Production Championship and in the Aprilia Challenge. He lifted both titles in 2001, earning the chance to contest his rookie year in the 125 World Championship in 2002 with Gilera. Fabrizio joined the MotoGP Aprilia team for 2004 and also made a single appearance in Germany on a Honda in 2007. In the summer of 2009, due to Casey Stoner\'s three-race absence from the factory Ducati team with an illness Mika Kallio temporarily took Stoner\'s ride, allowing 24 year-old Fabrizio to make another return to MotoGP, this time with Pramac Racing.
