ライダーストーリー

Hector Garzo’s first major breakthrough came in the 2016 FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship. Thanks to that performance, he stepped up to the Moto2 European Championship the following season, where he immediately impressed with four podium finishes and a fourth-place finish overall. He followed that up with four more podiums in 2018, ending the season third in the standings and celebrating his first victory at Albacete. During this period, the Valencian rider also had the opportunity to substitute for Xavi Vierge at Tech3 Racing, and later for Remy Gardner over the course of three races. The French team chose to continue their collaboration with Garzo in 2019, this time in the new FIM Enel MotoE World Cup with Tech3 E-Racing. There, he claimed three podiums and finished fourth in the championship. He also continued competing in the Moto2 European Championship, where he finished runner-up. In 2020, his performances earned him a full-time seat in the Moto2 World Championship with Pons Racing (FlexBox HP 40), where he secured an impressive second-place finish at the Valencia GP. The 2021 season proved more challenging, with more retirements than points-scoring results. In 2022, he returned to MotoE with Tech3, giving the electric class another shot. He finished eighth overall before moving to Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE in 2023. That season, he finished fourth, collecting six podiums, including a win in Germany. He also took part in the Moto2 season finale in Valencia with RW Racing GP, although he did not finish the race. In 2024, Garzo emerged as one of the top title contenders—and he lived up to expectations. Throughout the season, he claimed multiple podiums and secured four race wins, ultimately being crowned MotoE World Champion. In 2025, he will race with the #1, aiming to defend his crown
