Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) safely negotiated Q1 at the Pramac Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland to get himself into the fight for pole after setting a 1:20.751, beating rookie Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) by 0.212 seconds with the Japanese rider getting into Q2 for the second time this season.
