Marcel Schrötter (Dynavolt Intact GP) nicked top spot on his final flying lap in Warm Up at the GoPro British Grand Prix to beat second on the grid Remy Gardner (Tech 3 Racing) by 0.084 in wet conditions, with Mattia Pasini (Italtrans Racing Team) completing the top three – 0.106 from the German.

Home hero Sam Lowes (Swiss Innovative Investors) will start Sunday’s race from P9, with the Brit looking strong in the wet – P4 and 0.269 from top spot. Pole man Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) was fifth quickest, with main title rival Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) sixth fastest – work to do for the Portuguese rider from P23.
