Prima Pramac Racing wish the best to Jorge Martin

Following the news the #89 will depart the team for Aprilia in 2025, the team have wished their current star all the best

Following the news that Jorge Martin will join Aprilia Racing in 2025 on a multi-year deal, the Spaniard’s current team, Prima Pramac Racing, have sent their best wishes to the current World Championship leader.

The Prima Pramac Racing team welcomed Martin in 2021. In their second race together, the Spaniard achieved his first pole position in MotoGP™ and finished the race in third place.

After a massive crash at the beginning of the Portuguese GP, Martin missed four Grand Prix races to recover from several injuries. Two GPs after his return, in Austria, he secured a pole position and his first victory in MotoGP™.

Since then, the Spaniard has been growing, becoming one of the strongest riders in the premier class.

In 2023, history was made. Martin kept the Riders' World Championship title open until the last race, losing that goal by 39 points. In the same year, Prima Pramac Racing became the first Independent Team to win the MotoGP™ Teams’ World Championship.

The 2024 season started idyllically. Martin has been on the podium in the first seven Grands Prix of the season, consolidating his superiority as a Sprint winner and leading the Championship from the first event.

After four successful seasons together, Prima Pramac Racing continues to support Martin, doing their utmost to end this season in the best way possible.

Paolo Campinoti, Team Principal of Prima Pramac Racing: “We welcomed a talented rookie into our team, and today we are working with one of the strongest riders on the MotoGP™ grid. The progress we have made together is incredible, and we remain focused on the goal we set at the end of last year. Then, after the Valencian GP, we will say goodbye to Martín, wishing him the best for his future.”

Gino Borsoi, Team Manager of Prima Pramac Racing: “I am grateful and proud to work with Jorge: one of the strongest and most talented riders I have ever met. From now on, we continue to give our best to achieve the maximum together remaining focused on this season, which has started wonderfully. I hope that Jorge, having decided about his future, can enjoy the rest of the season with us.”
