Nearly 900,000 votes later, the 2025 Triumph Triple Trophy winner is… Diogo Moreira! The Brazilian rider, who won the Moto2 title in 2025 with Italtrans Racing Team, came out on top in the TTT as fans voted him the winner and recognized his exceptional performances this season.
The first-ever Brazilian Champion in any class, Moreira also secured the highest points across the season from fan votes in the Triumph Triple Trophy, where he made the shortlist eight times, and claimed top points five times. Finishing the season with 51 points, Moreira closed out the year ahead of title rival Manuel Gonzalez (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) and multiple race winner Jake Dixon (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) to claim the prestigious custom-liveried Triumph Triple Trophy Street Triple 765 RS prize – the roadster derived from the 765cc triple engine that powers the Moto2™ class.
Since its launch in 2020, the Triumph Triple Trophy has celebrated standout performances in Moto2, not just race wins, but resilience and consistency. Each weekend three riders are shortlisted and fans vote via the MotoGP™ Instagram channel. Points are awarded are in reference to Triumph’s 765cc engine:
● 7 points for the rider with most fan votes
● 6 points for the rider with second most fan votes
● 5 points for the rider with third most fan votes
This year a new format was introduced, where for the first time ever running alongside the weekend rider vote, fans had the chance to enter a free prize draw to win their very own Triumph Triple Trophy Street Triple 765 RS – an identical Triumph Triple Trophy machine.
The Triple Trophy prize, a unique Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, built and customised at Triumph’s global HQ at Hinckley, UK, was presented to Diogo Moreira at the final round of the 2025 season at Valencia, where he is the fifth winner of the Triumph-backed competition who next season moves up into the premier class, MotoGP.
Diogo Moreira: “I am super happy to win this Triumph Triple Trophy Street Triple 765 RS. For me it’s been a great season, my best season ever and I am so proud of this. Thank you to all the fans who have supported me this year, it means a lot to know there were so many vans voting, so I can only say thank you to all the people who supported me. I need to take my licence, as I don’t have this yet, then after that I will try to make some laps and enjoy a bit with the bike and after that I will put it in my house.”
Steve Sargent, Triumph’s Chief Product Officer: “Congratulations to Diogo Moreira on this superb achievement. Not only crowned the first-ever Brazilian World Champion, but also the winner of the popular vote, winning this year’s Triumph Triple Trophy. He’s had an incredible season, which saw him chase down rival Manuel Gonzalez, taking the lead at Portimão and never looking back. His talent has really shone this year and we hope he enjoys his Street Triple 765 RS. We look forward to seeing how he gets on next season as he graduates to MotoGP.
“Also congratulations to the winner of the fan Triumph Triple Trophy Street Triple 765 RS. We had a great response to the Triumph Triple Trophy poll, with over 861,000 fans voting, and thousands entering the competition to win their own exclusive Street Triple 765 RS.”
