After a short breather for the MotoGP paddock, we return to action at one of the world’s most prestigious venues as Round 12 of 2026 gets underway at Silverstone. The Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Great Britain is next up on the calendar, igniting the second part of this year’s title fight. From Thursday’s special Media Day to lights out on Sunday, the British GP is promising a bumper schedule this weekend. Check out the full schedule!
THURSDAY: MEDIA DAY BUILDS THE TENSION
It’s a very special Thursday at Silverstone as the Pre-Event Press Conference gets underway at 11:00 Local Time from London's iconic Outernet. Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), home hero Cal Crutchlow (Castrol Honda LCR), Ai Ogura (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team) and Diogo Moreira (Pro Honda LCR) will be in attendance, building the hype as they speak to the world’s media. Then from 16:00, MotoGP GearUp gets underway, where Jack Appleyard and Louis Suddaby bring you through the latest developments from the summer break!
FRIDAY: BIKES ROAR INTO SILVERSTONE!
The real action begins on Friday as Moto3 kick off our weekend with FP1 at 10:00, ahead of Moto2 FP1 at 10:50. Then for the first time this weekend It’s the premier class’s turn as MotoGP FP1 begins at 11:45. After a brief pause for lunch, Moto3’s important Practice goes green at 14:15 before Moto2 prepares for more at 15:05. The MotoGP grid will battle for direct entry into Q2 with their Practice session starting at 16:00. Finally, the Baggers will join the schedule this weekend, with FP1 at 13:40 before FP2 at 18:05!
SATURDAY: QUALIFYING AND SPRINT MADNESS
It’s a slightly earlier start on Saturday, with Moto3 FP2 getting underway at 09:40 before it’s Moto2’s turn at 10:25. MotoGP will have its first Saturday action with FP2 at 11:10 before the premier class battle for pole position from 11:50. Moto3 will set the grid from 13:45 before the Moto2 field fight for a spot on the front row from 14:40 in qualifying. Then we get set for the first racing action as we go lights out at 16:00 for the Tissot Sprint. Don’t forget the Baggers either, with qualifying at 13:10 before Race 1 at 17:10!
SUNDAY: RACE DAY SHAKE-UP!
Sunday’s schedule looks different at the British GP, starting at 09:40 with MotoGP Warm Up, setting the stage for an epic day of racing. Moto2 is the first race of the day at 11:15, battling over 17 laps of Silverstone. Then it’s the main event at 13:00 as the MotoGP grid goes lights out for the British GP! Moto3 are next up on Sunday’s schedule, kicking off 15 laps of pure drama at 14:30. Finally, the Baggers round out an incredible weekend, with Race 2 beginning at 16:00!
