The 2011 Moto2 campaign signifies Robertino Pietri’s second in the World Championship, as the Venezuelan rider remains with the Italtrans team with whom he made his debut in 2010.
A former motocrosser Pietri turned professional in 2005, competing the AMA superbike series and in 2007 he rode a round in the WSBK championship. The 2010 campaign – his first in the World Championship – delivered a points-scoring finish in Portugal, something he will aim to build on in 2011.
