After making a promising start to his motorcycle career in his native Venezuela on tracks like Caracas, Miranda, Carabobo, Aragua and Monaguas, Ramos was taken to Europe by Carlos Lavado to contest the Mediterranean Championship with the Monlau outfit. In 2012 he made the step to the Spanish CEV in the Moto3 class with the Venezuela Racing Team, leading the way to his 2014 World Championship debut with Kiefer Racing.
