Jaume Masia (Bester Capital Dubai) led the way in Moto3™ FP1 at the eyetime Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich, beating Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PrustelGP) by 0.081 seconds after setting a fastest time of 1:37.218, with Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) in third.
Fourth in the opening session of the weekend was Philipp Oettl (Sudmetal Schedl GP Racing), with John McPhee (CIP - Green Power) rounding out the top five.

Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) made a heroic comeback just a week after breaking a bone in his left wrist, the Spaniard was 23rd in FP1.
Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers Team) and Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) crashed at Turn 6, as Marcos Ramirez (Bester Capital Dubai) crashed on the exit of Turn 1 – riders ok.
The lightweight class will be back on track for FP2 this afternoon at 13:10 local time (GMT +2), will the heavens have opened by then?
