Marc Marquez declared fit to continue Italian GP weekend after FP1 return

The reigning World Champion was back in action in FP1 and has been declared fit for the rest of the weekend at Mugello

The #93 got back in the saddle for FP1 opening session and ended in 15th place, setting a fastest lap of 1:47.419. That left the returning 33-year-old 1.177s off the pace set by session leader and Catalan GP winner, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team).

Following FP1, Marquez visited the medical centre for a scheduled check-up to assess his condition after returning from injury. After that review, the Ducati rider was declared fit to compete across the remainder of the weekend at Mugello, aiming to put on a show for his team's home event in front of the Ducatisti.
