From Genoa in Italy, Riccardo Rossi began his racing in earnest in the CIV pre-Moto3 Championship in 2014. He did two races and then returned in 2015, before another season in the category the following season, alongside some appearances in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship. In 2017, he competed in Moto3™ in the CIV and the CEV, before 2018, he gave him his springboard as he became a race winner in the CIV and finished in the top 15 overall in the CEV. He then moved onto the world stage with Gresini for 2019 and, in 2020, took his career-best finish of 11th with BOE Skull Rider. Rossi only managed to crack the points once in the opening 11 rounds of 2021, but in the race where he did, he took a surprise and first-ever Moto3™ podium in France. Having moved to SIC58 Squadra Corse for 2022, he became a more consistent point scorer in the class and even added another podium to his tally at the Thai GP. 2023 saw the Italian consistently battle inside the top 10 as he targeted bigger and better things with SIC58. Then in 2024, Rossi made the switch to CIP Green Power, with the highlight of the season arriving at the Qatar GP, with a fourth-place finish. For 2025, he will head to the Snipers Team, with an exciting year ahead as he looks to use all of his experience and knowledge in the class.
